Hotel Options

We have arranged a block of rooms at the Super 8 in Castle Rock for our convention. The hotel is located at 1020 Park Street, Castle Rock, CO, 80109.  Other options will be listed as soon as we finalize details with them.

You can reserve rooms by calling 1-800-800-8000 or directly to the hotel at 720-773-6130 and referencing Lads to Leaders and the group code 17860601.  A credit card will need to be provided to book the room(s), and they can be cancelled until 6:00 PM the day before arrival with no penalty. Rates vary depending on the number of beds and adults in the room, as well as which night is booked, and are detailed below.  Children under 18 stay free with adults. Rates are listed without taxes (7.51% as of 11/17).  Rooms may be reserved until April 4, 2018, or as long as rooms are available. 

Room with two Double beds:

We also have a block of rooms available at the Hampton Inn in Castle Rock.  The hotel is located at 4830 Castleton Way, Castle Rock, CO 80109.  Their direct number is 303-660-9800.  Rooms may be requested online by clicking here.  Reservations may be made until April 11, 2018, or as long as rooms are available.

Rooms with to queen beds are $99 per night, plus taxes.  Rooms with a king bed and a sofabed are $89 per night, plus taxes.  Cancellations may be made until 48 hours before arrival to avoid paying fees.

Pre-convention Events

All Mass Media entries will be submitted through a file upload process directly on our website. The deadline for uploading files is March 1, 2018, so please get them uploaded early in case you have any problems. Please do not wait until the last day to upload the files. We recommend you use the Mozilla Firefox web browser when uploading files. Please limit all files to a maximum size of 60 MB. Scholarship Applications

Scholarship applications must be submitted to the National Service Center by the posted deadline of December 1, 2017.

Bible Bowl and Pearls

Bible Bowl and Pearls Test Dates: March 14-26, 2018. Completed test answer sheets are to be returned to the appropriate coordinators and MUST be postmarked by March 26.

Registration Verification

Verification for all pre-convention events will be done through our registration system. Details on the verification process will be included in the registration email that team leaders will receive in October or November. The only things that need to be sent by the registration deadline are listed above.

Convention T-shirts

Convention t-shirts are not included in the regular registration fee.  They are $10 each whether pre-ordered or purchased at convention.  If pre-ordered, they must be paid along with registration in order to be packed for convention.  Additionally, the shirts will be available in our online store in the fall of 2017 to be ordered and shipped prior to convention.

Registration Fees

NOTE: Fees are due for everyone that is registered as of the the posted registration deadline (based on the fee schedule below).  After this date, de-registering someone, whether the group’s registration fees have been paid or not, will not reduce the amount owed for registration.  Meeting rooms, awards, programs, schedules, insurance, etc., are all based on the totals as of this date.

Third Grade - Adult

$40 per person

Kindergarten - Second Grade

$40 per student if participating in Centurion of Scripture, Good Samaritan, Read the Word, Puppet Theater, Second Language, Bible Bowl, Know the Books, Keepers, Providers, or any Year-Round event.

No fee if not participating, or if only participating in Oral Bible Reading, Song Leading, Songs of Praise or Speech.

Late Fees

$5 per person, added by the National Service Center after March 1, 2018. This is in addition to the fees noted above.

Mail payment to the National Service Center by the posted payment deadline of March 5, 2018.

Checks, VISA, Discover, or MasterCard are accepted.  Note that seating order in the awards ceremonies is determined by the date that the first registration payment is received.  You will pay the hotel directly for your rooms.  If possible, please submit one lump sum payment per group rather than individual checks.  You can pay part of the registration early to ensure your seating location and then pay the balance as soon as registration is complete. For the deposit, we ask for $500 or half of your anticipated total registration, whichever is lower. Also, note that if you ordered t-shirts, those are paid first in our system when a payment is posted. For example, if your registration is $2000 plus $100 in t-shirts, you would need to make a minimum of a $600 deposit to have the t-shirts paid and then a $500 deposit for registration to get in the seating order.
