We recently mailed an L2L Marketing Kit to each congregation to help keep everyone updated on all things L2L. Included was a poster for your bulletin board with key dates to watch for during the year. This information is also included on a card that will fit inside a Bible or purse so you can keep it handy. If your congregation did not receive this packet and would like one, or if you would like more posters or “cheat sheets”, please contact us to request more. If your kit included a Pearls book with a promotional cover, please share that with someone at a congregation that is not already involved in L2L, so they can be introduced to the program and become involved, too!
The 2017 Convention T-Shirt (picture is the actual color of the shirt with this design on the back) is now available for sale through our online store for those who want to get them before arriving at convention. Orders will begin shipping on October 31, but you can order now. The cost is $10 each (the same as buying at convention), but shipping costs and sales tax, where applicable, will be added to online store orders. For anyone who has missed out on getting a shirt at convention because your size was sold out, the only way to guarantee that you get your size is to order through the online store or add it to your registration when it opens.
New for the 2017 convention: the convention shirt is also available in pink!
The Bible Bowl quiz app is updated for the 2017 convention! The app is free to download at any time for Apple. The questions for Ruth, Esther, and Job are available for purchase through an in-app purchase for $0.99. The Android version is $0.99 to purchase and includes the questions. Search your app store for Bible Bowl Prep by 316 Apps.
L2L is happy to announce our newest convention location in Visalia, California! A limited-event convention has been held the last couple of years at the West Visalia Church of Christ in Visalia, CA. Beginning in 2017, this will be a full L2L convention at the same time as our other convention sites, but it will still be held at the church building until numbers increase to where we need a convention facility. If you have friends or family in California or neighboring states that could be interested in L2L, contact Roy Johnson, L2L Executive Director, with their contact information, or have them contact us. We want to get the California convention built up big and strong, so help us out!
