Deadlines and Important Dates for ALL Convention Locations

Convention Registration Opens:

Sunday, December 1 at 8:00 a.m. (CST)

Hotel Room Block Deadline:

Monday, January 6, 2020 at midnight. Un-blocked rooms will be made available to everyone beginning at 8 AM (CST) on January 7, 2020. NOTE: This does not apply to the California, Colorado, and Mid-Atlantic conventions.

Registration Deadline for Event Participation:

February 2, 2020 at Midnight (CST)

Hotel Reservation Deadline:

Midnight (CST) on March 8, 2020

Pre-convention Events:

Mass Media entries must be submitted as outlined in the Pre-Convention Events section of your convention location's information page by the posted deadline.

Scholarship Applications:

Scholarship applications must be submitted to the National Service Center by the posted deadline of February 2, 2020.

Bible Bowl and Pearls:

Bible Bowl and Pearls Test Dates: February 11-24, 2020. Completed test answer sheets are to be returned to the National Service Center and MUST be postmarked by February 24, 2020.

Registration Verification:

Verification for all pre-convention events will be done through our registration system. Details on the verification process will be included in the registration email that team leaders will receive in October or November. The only things that need to be sent by the registration deadline are listed above.

Convention T-shirts

Convention t-shirts are not included in the regular registration fee.  They are $10 each whether pre-ordered or purchased at convention.  If pre-ordered, they must be paid along with registration in order to be packed for convention. 

Registration Fees

New beginning in 2020: We will have Early Bird Registration fees in place for all who are registered from December 1, 2019 through January 6, 2020. From January 7, 2020 through the registration closing date of February 2, 2020, the fee will be $5 more. See below for details.

NOTE: Fees are due for everyone that is registered as of the the posted registration deadline (based on the fee schedule below).  After this date, de-registering someone, whether the group’s registration fees have been paid or not, will not reduce the amount owed for registration.  Meeting rooms, awards, programs, schedules, insurance, etc., are all based on the totals as of this date.

Third Grade - Adult

$40 per person, if registered between December 1, 2019 and January 6, 2020

$45 per person, if registered between January 7, 2020 and February 2, 2020

Kindergarten - Second Grade

EARLY BIRD: $40 per student if participating in Centurion of Scripture, Good Samaritan, Read the Word, Puppet Theater, Second Language, Bible Bowl, Know the Books, Keepers, Providers, or any Year-Round event AND registered between December 1, 2019 and January 6, 2020

$45 per student participating as shown above if registered between January 7, 2020 and February 2, 2020

No fee if not participating, or if only participating in Oral Bible Reading, Song Leading, Songs of Praise, or Speech

$20 (This helps cover awards.)

Late Fees

$5 per person, added by the National Service Center after the registration deadline of February 2, 2020. This is in addition to the fees noted above.

Mail payment to the National Service Center by the posted payment deadline of February 18, 2020.

Checks, VISA, Discover, or MasterCard are accepted.  Note that seating order in the awards ceremonies is determined by the date that the first registration payment is received.  You will pay the hotel directly for your rooms.  If possible, please submit one lump sum payment per group rather than individual checks.  You can pay part of the registration early to ensure your seating location and then pay the balance as soon as registration is complete. For the deposit, we ask for $500 or half of your anticipated total registration, whichever is lower. Also, note that if you ordered t-shirts, those are paid first in our system when a payment is posted. For example, if your registration is $2000 plus $100 in t-shirts, you would need to make a minimum of a $600 deposit to have the t-shirts paid and then a $500 deposit for registration to get in the seating order.
